This is a song me and Scout wrote. It's called, "Come hoooooome, Mooooommy! Come home! Come home!"

Daddy takes care of the puppies

Today Daddy took care of us puppies while Mommy went to volunteer at the shelter. We had lots of fun. We played outside and cleaned up the yard and had some bonding time.

Except he forgot to feed us breakfast. So when Mommy got home at dinnertime we were really hungry.

This dog has the longest tongue in the world! (video)

Puggy the Pekinese was named by Guiness World Records as the dog with the longest tongue in the world. It's 4 1/2 inches long!

Gee, and me and Scout thought we had long tongues! I'll bet with that tongue Puggy can catch lots of treats that fall from his mommy's dinner plate!

Love,
Bandit

Scout goes to college

Hi, everyone! It's me, Scout! I had a big adventure today. I went to school. And Bandit didn't get to go. Haha! He had to stay home in his baby crate.

I didn't go to puppy school and I didn't go to the elementary school. I went with Mommy and Cassie to Buffalo College!

Cassie needed a ride to classes so Mommy took her. It took a long time to get there. I don't like to ride in the car, but it was OK because Cassie was with us.

Just in case you didn't know, there are no real buffalos in Buffalo. But there are lots of people and noises and smells. And you would be very proud of me, because I didn't get scared hardly at all!

Me and Mommy dropped Cassie off and then we parked the car and walked around busy Elmwood street. Then we went to the park to play and I made a new friend. Her name is Georgia. She is 7-months-old and she likes to play wrestle. Except I wanted to play bubble catch. But it was OK; we romped for a while and then Mommy gave us biscuits.

Me and Mommy hung out in the park for awhile.

But then we went to the college because we were out of water and needed to refill our bottle. Except someone told Mommy no dogs are allowed at the college. All of the students looked quiet and bored. But they smiled when they saw me, and some stopped to pet me.

I think dogs are not allowed because college is not supposed to be fun, and dogs bring the fun. Oh well. Me and Mommy found some grass and played bubble catch anyway and we did not get arrested.

Then Cassie finished her class and we drove home.

All of the excitement pooped us all out. But it was fun to have a special adventure with Mommy and Cassie and without Bandit!

Love,
Scout

Dali is here to help take care of her mommy

Yay! Dali came over to spend the night and help me and Scout take care of Cassie!

I was so excited that I barfed up my dinner and a big piece of chicken finger I ate last night but didn't chew.

Cassie went to the doctor today and she is not allowed to drive a car until next week or go to school. But she is feeling better so we have to find ways to make her happy and not bored.

So far we have run around the yard and said hi to Sasha and Steeley and played ball. Now we are going to put Cassie to bed and get ready for night nights.

Love,
BANDIT!!

Me and Scout take care of Cassie

Dali misses her mommy, but me and
Scout and Murphy are taking good care of her.

Me and Scout have been doing a good job taking care of Cassie after her accident on Friday.

On Friday, while Mommy went to the store to get Cassie's medicine, Scout sat with Cassie while she barfed so she wouldn't feel alone. Mommy says if you are sick and need someone to take care of you, Scout is the dog for the job.

Then during the Friday night, Scout slept at the front door to make sure no more badness came in to bother Cassie, while me and Murphy did the job of waking Mommy up every 2 hours so she could wake Cassie up to make sure her brain was still working.

Except me and Murphy don't know how to tell time so we didn't know when 2 hours was up. So we just kissed her and licked her face and stuff like that all the time, and Cassie's friend Deputy Steve called every 2 hours from his police car. Cassie was very hurting but her brain was working, which was very good.

Yesterday, Mommy and Cassie went to Buffalo to get stuff out of Cassie's scrunched up car. On the way home, they stopped at Grandma's to get something. But Cassie was sound asleep in the car so she missed seeing Dali. Dali misses her mommy.

Dali, your mommy is safe. She is sleeping a lot so even if you were here she would just be sleeping. And Mommy says we can't play wild maniac dog so you would be bored. We hope you're having fun playing Extreme Home Makeover: Grandma's House edition with Aunt Jackie and Uncle Eric and Daddy!

Today, Cassie is still very tired and very ouchy and her tummy is still feeling icky even though she isn't barfing any more. So Mommy had to go to the store to get her different medicine. She brought me and Scout back new chew toys because she said we have been doing such a good job taking care of Cassie and not barking too much like wild maniac dogs.

So we are happy Cassie is OK but we are sad that she is still very ouchy. And us pups and cat are doing our job to help take care of her.

Love
Bandit

Cassie and her car get in a very bad accident but Cassie is alright

Mommy went out this morning to volunteer at the dog shelter and then we didn't see her for eleventy million hours. Daddy came home at lunch time and let us out but then back into my cage I went until way after dinner time.

That's because Cassie and her car were in a bad accident and Mommy was at the hospital with her all day.

This is not a joke.

Cassie was driving on the thruway to go to school in Buffalo and a mean, stupid man was bad on the road and he drove his car crazy and made her car go into the rail that guard the road. It was a bad accident. And Cassie's car spun around and around and smashed all up bad.

Do you know what the bad man did? He drove away and left her there.

The ambulance guys took good care of Cassie and brought her to the hospital. It was not the same hospital I had to go to when I ate Mommy's inhaler, but Mommy said the people who took care of Cassie were as nice as at my hospital.

The doctors took pictures of all of her insides and her brain, and the doctor said that Cassie hurt her head with something called a concussion. And all of her muscles and the stuff that holds her muscles together are all hurting. But she didn't break any bones, which is a good thing. The ambulance guys told Mommy it was a miracle that Cassie didn't get more hurt, and the man who drove Cassie's bed around the hospital so she could get pictures taken of her insides said God was taking care of her.

Thank you God for taking care of Cassie!

But Cassie's car got hurt a lot. It had to get towed to the broken car yard because it is all smashed up. And it can never be driven again forever. Cassie is sad about her car. But we are happy that her car got the most hurt so she didn't have to.

Cassie has to wear a collar on her neck to keep her head still, and she has to take medicine that makes her feel barfy and dizzy. I bet that Dali is worried about her Mommy. But it's OK, Dali. Your Mommy is safe on our couch.

Maybe tomorrow Dali will come over and me and her and Scout can take very good care of Cassie all weekend.

Love
Bandit!!!

Thank you to Erick at Tim Hortons!

Come on, Mommy! Let's go get some Tim Bits and coffee!

Mommy went to Tim Hortons today and she didn't take us. Boo, Mommy.

But that's OK because when she ordered her coffee and donut, our friend Erick who works there gave her Tim Bits to take home for me and Scout.

That's why we love Tim Hortons!!  Because they take such good care of us puppies!! Thanks, Erick! Yo'ure the best!

Love,
Scout and Bandit
