What we did on Thanksgiving

Guess what me and Scout did on Thanksgiving? We ate the turkey. All of the turkey!

Mommy sliced off all of the tasty meat and put it on a pretty plate on the stove with the other Thanksgiving dinner stuff. Then she put the naked turkey skeleton in the fridge while her and Daddy and Cassie and Bailey sat in the living room and ate and talked about how great Bailey is.

Me and Scout got left out of everything. So while they blah blah blahed, I got up on to the stove and opened the turkey dish, and then started throwing the food onto the floor. Then me and Scout ate it all up.

Hahahaha! It was great! That will teach them to ignore us.

We left one turkey drumstick and Mommy was able to pick some turkey meat off of the skeleton to make lunch the next day.

We felt a little bad because there were no leftovers to send home to Grandma. I guess she will have to cook another turkey and invite us all over. Just in case you wanted to know, me and Scout like the white meat.

Anyway, I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving!!

Bailey gets bored

Bailey and Mommy had a picnic at Schallers
Yesterday, Mommy took Bailey to Dr. Hall's office to get bored. I don't know why she had to go to the vet to get bored. It's pretty boring around here sometimes, especially when Mommy is working. BOR-ing!

Mommy said that because me and Bailey have been having big fights we all needed a night to catch our breaths and not have to worry about us hurting each other.

Before Bailey went to get bored, she had some fun. She and Mommy had a picnic at Daddy's restaurant. Mommy says that Bailey could teach me a few things about not stealing food. Hahaha. Not likely, Mommy. Mommy said that Bailey was so good and didn't bark at the delivery truck or the people who came to say hello. Then they went to the park.

Me and Scout stayed home. I think we were the ones who got bored.

When Mommy got home she thought we would all be quiet and get some rest. Hahahaha! We had big playtimes! Me and Scout and Murphy played chase and wrestle and tug and had lots of fun! I even did my old bad stuff, like take Mommy's socks outside and run around the yard with them. We even got to take all of the toys out of the cupboard and throw them around the house.

That's because we didn't have to worry about Bailey and me fighting. She doesn't play fair and wrecks all of the games because she doesn't understand what I am saying to her. I talk to her in dog, but she doesn't listen. When I say, "Hey, I'd like you to give me that toy right now because I am the king of the world," she just says,  "Let's fight!" It is hard to talk to your sister when she never learned Doglish.

Mommy was afraid that Bailey was crying at the vet and barking like a wild animal because she wanted to come home. But Crystal said that Bailey was doing very good. She played with her football and ate her dinner and was sound asleep in her kennel when Mommy called. She didn't bark at the other dogs or try to sneak out of her kennel or get wild. Crystal said Bailey is a very sweet dog.

I think we all needed a break from each other.

Bailey is coming home to sleep over tonight, and then she will go back to the vet's the next day, and then come home for a bunch of days, and then go back. Hopefully her new forever family will hurry up and realize that they need a super smart girl dog like Bailey so she can go live at her new home and be the queen of the world and not have to have sleepovers at Dr. Hall's.

I went to vote today - make sure you vote, too!

Today is Vote Day! Me and Mommy walked up to the town hall to tell the nice ladies who we want to be in charge of the universe for a while. That is called voting!

You should know that you are not allowed to take pictures inside the voting place. So I will tell you how you vote. First, you say to the nice lady, "Hi! My name is Mommy and I live in the blue house near the park." And the nice lady says, "Hi, Mommy! Sign your name right here."

Then the lady hands you a piece of paper and you color in some little circles next to the names of the people you want to be in charge. If you have a puppy with you, your puppy can help you color in the circles.

Then you feed your paper into a hungry machine who eats it and burps up a message that says, "Okey dokey! You are all set!"

Then another nice lady gives you and your Mommy stickers that say "I voted today". I put my sticker on the t-shirt I have to wear so I don't lick my boo boos.

Ta da!!!  You have voted! Just in case you didn't know, you do not have to tell anyone who you voted for. It is a secret. But I will tell you who I voted for. The nice lady who came to our house.

Maybe some day I will run for President. I have done some politics stuff before. Remember when I went to meet Sarah Palin with Mommy and Aunt Rene?

Anyway, if you are an American you are supposed to go and vote today. You will get to meet some nice people and get a pretty sticker and help to decide who runs your country!

Can you help us find a new home for Bailey?

Our sister Bailey needs to find a new home. Right away.

I have not blogged for a few days because we are having a very bad time. Me and Bailey have decided that we DO! NOT! want to live together in the same house, so we have been fighting. Bailey is a better fighter than I am, so I am starting the fights but she is finishing them. And I am getting ouched. Very ouched.

You should know that it has been one big crying festival over here the last week or so.

Bailey is a very good dog and she is super duper nice with people and mostly nice with Scout and she hasn't even hurt Murphy at all (on purpose, anyway; they play wrestlemania a lot). It is pretty much me and Bailey that do not get along. Bailey gets excited very quick and I get excited very quick, and I like to be the boss and Bailey likes to be the boss. And guess what? You can't have two excited bosses in the same house.

Mommy and Daddy and Miss Sheri and Dr.Hawkins have all decided that Bailey needs to find a new home before me or her get really hurt bad.

We went to see the famous Miss Suzanne Clothier yesterday, and she agreed that me and Bailey need to get separated ASAP, which means right now. She said that Bailey should go have a vacation at the vet's office and live in a special kennel for a while to get away from me and so that we can all take a break. Scout is sick, and I have a giant boo boo that needs to get better, and Mommy is just a crying mess all the time.

Mommy did a lot of crying about she has messed us dogs up and how she has done something called "reinforcing" that I am the king of the whole world. Miss Suzanne said that she thinks I was born with a king gene and Mommy just polished it a bit, haha. She said Mommy did not mess anyone up, that me and Bailey are oil and water and that Bailey needs to go live in a home where I am not. She said that Bailey is not bad with people and she might even be able to live in a house with another dog. As long as that dog isn't bossy like me.

Once upon a time, me and Bailey used to get along.
Daddy is on vacation tomorrow too and so he and Bailey are having romping times in the wildlife. But on Wednesday, she has to go live at the vet's office. Even though me and Bailey can't live together, I do not want her to have to live in a kennel. I would like her to find a new home where she can be the king of everything, like I am the king of everything here. Then she can chew her toys without worrying that I am going to try and steal them or sleep on the couch with her new mommy and not have to share with a bossy brother.

So if you are looking for a dog that is very smart and likes to play puppy school and likes to spend her whole day snuggling you and playing with her football, maybe you can give Bailey a home. Mommy has all of Bailey's information on her blog, so you can go there and read it.
