Bailey is a Daddy's girl

Bailey is a Daddy's girl.

Bailey tricked Daddy last night. It was great.

Daddy let Bailey sleep next to him in the big bed a couple of times this week, but last night he said he didn't want to have a puppy sleeping on his head anymore. That's because Bailey likes to snuggle right in your face all night. She puts her nose in front of your nose and falls asleep like that, and if you move she moves, too. That way she is always snuggled with you.

Daddy asked Mommy if she wanted Bailey to sleep next to her, and Mommy said, "Hey, I have two stinky dogs sleeping on my feet. I don't need a puppy on my head, too."

So Mommy made Daddy put Bailey in the crate.

You know what happened. Bailey cried and cried and cried. She cried, "Daddy! Daddy! I'm so cold and lonely and sad in this cold and lonely crate! Oh Daddy! Please come and save me!! Whaaa! Whaaa!"

Mommy ignored Bailey but Daddy kept saying, "Bailey, shhh." I went out to see her in her crate a couple of times and said, "Bailey, you have to go to sleep so Daddy can get some rest and go to work to make hamburgers and french fries and make money so we can have treats and dog food!"

Bailey finally went to sleep for about eleventeen minutes. Then she woke up again and said, "Daddy! Please take me outside to potty!"

So Daddy got up and took her out to potty and then instead of putting her back into her crate, he let her snuggle with him in bed.

Hahahaha!! Bailey tricked Daddy so she could sleep in the big, warm bed. And Daddy fell for it!

When Scout came to live with Mommy and Daddy he used the same trick. He never slept one night in a crate. I had to sleep in the jail crate for a while, but now Mommy can't sleep unless I am right next to her because I am so cute and snuggly.

So Bailey will probably not have to sleep in the crate too much any more, especially if she calls Daddy instead of Mommy.

We're some tricky puppies, aren't we?

PS: Guess what? Mommy just took us puppies out to potty and Murphy got on the laptop and broke the letter T and made the computer go BEEEEPBEEEPBEEEEP. We drive Mommy nuts. It's great.

Tucker sings a sad song and plays the piano (video)

This dog is my new favorite singer. His name is Tucker. He's singing a very sad song. I needed a tissue.

Tails of Success and other fantastic treats

Bailey had to go see her friends from Pitty Love Rescue today because she needed a shot. So Mommy said I could come along.

Yay! Adventure day!

Me, Mommy and Bailey went to see Lindsay and Darcy at Tails of Success. This is not the same Lindsay that I am in love with at Camp Bow Wow. This is a different Lindsay. And Tails of Success is a different romping place for dog. Remember? Me and Scout went there for their "Hey, we're opening up!" party. We sniffed some dogs and ate some stuff and had some good times.

I love romping. Scout does not like romping parties. That's why today he stayed home with Murphy.

Anyway, today me and Bailey had one whole hour of mad fantastic romps! The first thing you do when you have a romping party is sniff everyone's butts.

Your butt end is your last name.

And your front end is your first name!

Then you just start running! Running and running and running! And wrestling, and sometimes even barking.

You know that if you are blurry in the romping party pictures you are having a great time.

Bailey stopped to say hi to Darcy so she didn't feel left out

You run and run and run until your tongue hangs out, and then you all go and drink up all the water in the dog bowls, and then you run some more until your mommy says it is time to go home.

Then we went to see Amanda at Country Max to buy a dog crate but it was about fortyleven thousand hundred cents so Mommy said we would wait. And then we went home.

And then guess what happened? Mommy gave us puppies a super surprise: bones from the fridge! They are real bones and they are the greatest treats in the whole world. We can thank Darcy for talking Mommy into that treat.

So today was a great day. A better great day that I have had in a long time.

You should go to Tails of Success for your next romping party. They are really nice there and they don't care if you pee on the floor. Mommy says we can alternate between Camp Bow Wow and Tails so we can have even more friends!

It's great to be a dog.

Bailey goes to the town hall

Mommy took Bailey to the Town Hall today when she went to get some papers to fill out so that Bailey can stay with us until she finds a new home.

When I go to the Town Hall, I like to jump on the counters and say hi to the ladies. Mommy put Bailey on the counter and she snuggled up with Bob and then she fell asleep.

This is Bailey and Bob. Bailey likes Bob. She gave him lots of kisses.
Maybe Bob should bring Bailey home!
When they got home, we all went for a walk. Which is crazy business when you have two Border Collies and a puppy! Mommy had to carry Bailey because she thought it was time to play tug with the leashes. We got wet and muddy and it was super great.

Bailey needs to find her new home or else we have to pay about fortyleven dollars to ask the important people at the Town Hall to let her stay with us for always. Except Mommy is being a cry baby about having to give Bailey away. Daddy said maybe we should keep Bailey and find me a new home. Haha, that's so funny, Daddy!! I'm never going to leave you, forever and forever and forever. Even when I grow old and go to live on God's farm in the sky, I will become a ghost puppy and haunt you in your dreams.

It's a sad day at our house

This is  Mimi on the day before she went to live in the chicken coop on God's farm.

Yesterday was a very sad day at our house. One of Mommy's chickens had to go to God's chicken coop in the sky.

All of the hens are sick, but Mimi was really sick. She went to the vet's and didn't come back. And Aunt Bea is probably going to to join Mimi so she has someone to hang around with on God's farm.

Mommy cried over her chickens. She said that Mimi and Aunt Bea looked like they had all of their feathers and they didn't seem sick at all. But underneath ... ick. The bald chickens aren't nearly as sick.

I don't know why Mommy cried over her hens. I guess chickens are like dogs. You love them, except they don't sleep in your bed.

Me and Scout and Murphy are all going to the vet together today for our annual check ups. That'll be fun for Dr. B and will probably make Mommy feel better.

Bailey has an adventure and we get stuck home.

Bailey went to Dylan's house and played. Dylan's mommy took this picture.
Stupid Bailey had an adventure today and it is not fair.

Mommy had to go to the greatest pet store on earth, Pet Saver Super Store, to get us some new food because the food we eat now gives us gas. It's expensive food and very yummy but it doesn't like our tummies too much. So she got something that won't make us so stinky.

And she took Bailey with her and left me and Scout home.

Boo on that. Bailey got snuggled and petted and got a new tag for her collar. But she did bring up home some new biscuits, so that was OK.

And then Mommy and Bailey went to visit Dylan and Jenefer so Jenefer could see how big Bailey got. They had some play time and Dylan read everyone a book and Bailey peed on the carpet. Boo on that, too. I never got to go to Dylan's house to pee on the carpet.

Me and Scout are getting left home a lot. And I heard Mommy say that if Bailey doesn't find a home soon she might end up here forever.

Everyone loves Bailey. I'll bet if they found out she ate her own poop they wouldn't think she was so cute and me and Scout could get some attention once in a while.
