The funnest day of the year!

We had some fun romping at the park with Daddy!

Today was the funnest day of the year! Mommy AND Daddy took us to the park! Me, Scout, Bailey, Mommy and Daddy!

Bailey doesn't to get her feet cold.

We had a fun romp in the snow. Daddy is the best snowball maker ever. Bailey was very cold so she just whined like a baby.

Uh oh, here come the cops!

The cops came to the park, too. Daddy made us sit very still and pretend like we were good dogs so that when the cops drove by they wouldn't know we were off of our leashes and give us a ticket. Me and Scout did not want to go to jail, so we sat really nice.

Sit pretty we we don't go to jail!
When it was time to go, Mommy and Daddy talked to two nice ladies who were learning how to ski in the park. Their names were Debbie and Karen ... or maybe Donna and Karen. Mommy can't remember because her brain is frozen. Anyway, Debbie has pit bulls and she thought Bailey was super fantastic and she thinks we should  keep her at our house instead of trying to find her another home. Mommy said Debbie should bring Bailey home with her! Hahaha!

Anyway, we had a super giant romp and then we came home and watched a movie on TV about dogs and a pig called Babe. Then we took naps.

It's the greatest day of the year.

Bandit gets snow for his birthday

This is how much snow we had in our driveway yesterday.
We smooshed it all down and used it all up.

Yesterday was my birthday. I turned Terrible Two years old. We didn't have a party or a cake. But Mommy took us to the park to romp and we played with our pal Devo. There was a lot of snow and we romped and romped. Snow is like a super present!

Then later that night Mommy made caramel popcorn and let me and Scout be the official tasters. There was popcorn flying out of the popcorn machine and every time Mommy stirred the popcorn in the oven it jumped out on the floor and me and Scout ate it up. So that was like a party!

This is how much snow we had in our yard this morning!
We used up most of it, too.

We went to the park again today. It was a different park, There is A LOT more snow at this park. Up to our chins! I romped and romped and me and Scout chased snowballs. Mommy said I am getting to be a really bossy naughty dog because I bite my brother a lot. I have to work on that.

This is how much snow was at the park today.
It was up to our chins! And no one had used any of it!! Snow!

But the snow is so exciting I can't help myself! I want it all to myself!!

Snow! Snow! Snow!!

Mommy thinks that playing in the snow will wear me and Scout out and we'll take a nap. HAHAHAHA, Mommy! You're so funny. We just want more! More snow!!

Happy Snow Friday!

Hi, snow puppies!

We woke up and found a gazillion million inches of snow in the yard! Yea!! We have been playing in the snow all morning. The schools are closed but Daddy had to go to work. Boo.

Then, Mommy made me and Scout scrambled eggs with cheese and stuffed it into our Kongs and we had a great breakfast.

Now, Mommy told us she would like us all to take a snuggly nap. Maybe we will, maybe we won't. But we are having a great Friday so far!!

Love,
Bandit

PS: it's still snowing!! Look, Mommy took more snow puppy pictures. Can you find me in the first one?

Playing kill the kickball

Hey snow bunnies! Did you get a lot of snow where you live? We didn't. So Mommy can't play Snow Momster with us. Send us snow!

Today we found a new game - kill the kickball. Here's how you play: Mommy kicks the basketballs to me and Scout and we kill them until they don't have any bounce left, and then we carry them around and kill them some more.

It's a great game. We killed two balls. We played so much today that me and Scout are pooped out.

What kind of games do you play with your Mommy?

Stinky snow day

Mommy was supposed to go to Buffalo today to bring some stuff for Cassie's new apartment. Which meant I would have to be in my crate for the day because Mommy says she is flat broke and can't send me to camp until she gets paid.

But yeah! She had her days mixed up so she gets to stay home with us!

Which is good because it is very snowy out today. Except Mommy is being mean and not going out to play with us. I have tried to tell her that we snow puppies need to be out chasing snowballs, but she is ignoring us.

Rats. And now I have to be in my crate anyway because I have eaten the gas and electric bill and Daddy's hunting catalog.

I am barking in my crate to let Mommy know that I am ready to get out. Except for some reason, Mommy won't let me out until I stop barking. So how am I supposed to tell her that I am ready to be let out if I can't bark? If I don't bark, she might forget about me and leave me here all day!

Come on, Mommy! Let me out of jail! I need to chase snowballs!

Mommy! We want OUT!

Me and Scout have been outside today about eleventeen hundred times. We go outside, eat some snow, come in, have to potty, go out, run around in the snow, come in, eat a biscuit, go out, wrestle in the snow, come in, chew some slippers (OK, that's just me), go out, chase snowballs, come in and bug Mommy to go back out.

We want to go outside and play in the snow, Mommy!! All day! Throw snowballs for us!!

Plus, whenever we come in the house Mommy gives us a new biscuit that tastes really good, so if we want another one we just go outside and then come in and we get a biscuit!

Mommy just does not understand that snow puppies must be outside in the snow a lot. Otherwise we turn into cats and sleep on the windowsills all day.

Guess who?? Snow puppies!!!

OK, can you guess who this is?

It's me, Bandit! Did I fool you?

Hahaha, it's snowing a lot and me and Scout have been outside playing!! I got covered in so much snow I looked like a snowball with a tail!

Me and Scout are having tons of fun in the snow. Mommy says it is definitely not fun. But since Scout is having more fun than he has had in a very long time she said she will suffer and go outside and play Snow Momster until we have to go to the vet to get our shots.

But then Mommy made us come in because I was shivering so much that even my whiskers shivered.

Look at Scout! He's making Snow Puppy Angels!

You should go outside and play Snow Momster with your puppy today. Your puppy will love you for it.

In fact, if your puppies are good at the vet getting shots in their behinds, like me and Scout were today, you should take them to our friend Tim Hortons for a Tim Bit, like Mommy did for us today.

So go play in the snow and then go get coffee and donuts with your puppies! Happy Snow Day!

Snow! Snow!! Snow!!!!

Bandit here! IT SNOWED!!

It snowed yesterday morning and it snowed yesterday during naptime and it snowed during dinner and it snowed while we slept.

SNOW!!

There is snow up to my ankles. Mommy played Incredible Snow Momster with us last night. It's a fun game. Mommy throws snow balls and we try to get the snowball in our mouth and then bite really hard and snow flies everywhere.

SNOW!!

Mommy said she is too darned cold to keep playing Snow Momster and is staying inside. But me and Scout are outside playing. Mommy will come out later to see what we're up to and then we'll make her play Snow Momster again by herding her into the back yard.

Or sometimes we sit at the door and stare at her, sending her thinking thoughts that say, Mommy. Come here right now Mommy. Play with your puppies right now Mommy. This is your brain telling you to go outside right now Mommy.

Sometimes it pays to be a border collie.

SNOW!!

Anyway, I hope it SNOWED where you are and you have a Mommy who will play Incredible Snow Momster with you!!

SNOW!!
